Shape Party

Tap any shape — it bounces, makes a sound, and names itself. Or switch to Find the shape: it asks for a shape and you tap it. Nothing to win or lose.

Tap a shape!

How to play Shape Party

  1. In Free play, tap any shape to hear its colour and name.
  2. Switch to Find the shape: listen for a shape and tap it.
  3. The shapes move after each find, so it’s the shape that matters, not where it was.

About this game

Made for babies and toddlers (with a grown-up nearby): six big shapes in bright colours, all the same size. In Free play, tapping a shape plays a cheerful note and names its colour and shape, on screen and out loud. In Find the shape, the game asks for one shape (“Find the star!”) and the child taps it: the right one bounces and cheers, and any other gives a gentle wiggle and says what it is, so they can try again. The shapes swap places after each find, so it’s the shape they’re looking for, not the spot. It’s a gentle way to start recognising shapes and colours, not a test of anything. Speech uses your browser’s built-in voice, and the speaker button at the top mutes it along with the sounds.
