Deckbound
A roguelike deck-building card battler. Fight through 13 floors of the crate vaults, read what every enemy is about to do, build your deck one card at a time, and topple the Crate King.
Last updated
You start with ten plain cards and 3 energy a turn. Each turn you draw five cards and spend energy to attack, block and set up powers. Every enemy shows its next move, so you know when to hit hard and when to raise your guard. Win fights to add new cards, find relics that bend the rules, rest at campfires, and shop with the merchant. A lean, well-built deck beats a big one.

How to play Deckbound
- Click New run, or Daily run for the same seed as everyone else.
- Each turn you have 3 energy and 5 cards: play attacks for damage and skills for Block, reading each enemy’s intent above its head.
- Win fights to add cards to your deck, and climb 13 floors to beat the Crate King.
How to play
Combat. Each turn you get 3 energy and draw 5 cards. Cards cost energy (shown in the corner): attacks deal damage, skills mostly give Block, and powers last for the rest of the fight. Block soaks up damage but disappears at the start of your next turn. Above each enemy is its intent: ⚔️ with a number means it will attack for that much (already adjusted for Weak and Vulnerable), 💪 means it is powering up, and ☠️ means it will debuff you.
Statuses. Strength adds damage to every attack hit and Dexterity adds Block to every Block card. Weak cuts attack damage by 25% and Vulnerable makes you take 50% more; both wear off by one each turn. Poison deals its amount at the start of the victim's turn, then drops by one. Exhausted cards are gone for the rest of the fight.
The run. On each floor you choose a door: a fight, a tougher elite that guards a relic, a campfire (heal 30% or upgrade a card), a merchant, treasure, or an unknown event. Floor 12 is always a campfire or merchant, and floor 13 is the Crate King. Skipping a card reward is often right: a smaller deck draws your best cards more often. Your run saves after every action.
Daily run. Everyone gets the same seed each day (same doors, enemies, card offers and shop), so you can compare how far you got. Finish it to share your path as a row of emoji.
