How to play Word Guess

About this game
A word-guessing game in the style popularised by Wordle: six guesses to land on a hidden 5-letter word, with the board colouring each guess as feedback. Green means that letter is correct and in the right spot; yellow means it's in the word but in a different spot; grey means it's not in the word at all — and if a letter appears more than once, the colouring accounts for exactly how many times it actually appears in the answer, not just whether it's present. Type on a keyboard or tap the on-screen one; either works the same. Any of about 8,700 English five-letter words is accepted as a guess, rarer ones like THANE or ABYSM included; the hidden word is always a common one. Press New word for another round any time. Your played count, win rate, and streak are saved on this device.
