This uses the Web Speech API's speech synthesis built into your browser and operating system — the available voices, their quality, and language coverage all depend on what's installed on your device, not on this page, which is why the voice list may look different on a phone, a Mac, or a Windows PC. If no voices are listed, your browser either hasn't loaded them yet or doesn't support speech synthesis.
Nothing you type here is sent to a server — the text is read entirely by your device's own speech engine.
