About this tool
Each username pairs a random adjective with a random noun from a built-in word list of about 100 of each, optionally followed by a 2 or 3-digit number to further reduce collisions. With both lists this size and a number suffix, there are well over a million possible combinations — plenty for picking a handle, though it's not intended as a substitute for checking whether a specific name is actually available on the platform you're using it for.
Nothing generated here is sent to a server — the entire tool runs as JavaScript in your browser tab.
Questions about usernames
How are the usernames made?
From a random adjective and a random noun, with an optional 2 or 3-digit number, giving well over a million combinations.
Will the username be available?
Not necessarily. Check it on the site you’re signing up to, or search it across many sites at once with the username search tool.
What makes a good username?
Short, easy to spell and say, and not containing your real name, birth year or other personal details.
Can I use these for gaming?
Yes. Try CamelCase or underscores, and add a number if your first choice is taken.
