How to convert
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9/5 (1.8) and add 32.
°F = °C × 9/5 + 32
For example: 20 × 9/5 + 32 = 36 + 32 = 68 °F.
Handy reference points: water freezes at 0 °C (32 °F) and boils at 100 °C (212 °F), normal body temperature is about 37 °C (98.6 °F), and −40 is the same in both scales.
In your head: Double it and add 30: 20 °C ≈ 70 °F (exactly 68 °F). It’s closest for everyday weather.
