About this game

Freecell deals the entire deck face up across eight columns from the start — nothing is hidden, so every decision is fully informed. Goal: move every card to the four foundations, built up by suit from Ace to King. Tableau columns build downward in alternating colors, same as Klondike, but any card (not just a King) can start a new sequence in an empty column.

The four free cells in the top-left each hold exactly one card of any rank, used as temporary parking. Selecting a valid, already-ordered run of cards and dropping it on a legal destination moves the whole run as a supermove — the game works out whether you have enough empty free cells and empty columns to physically shuffle that many cards across, using the standard formula (free cells + 1) × 2 for each empty column, and rejects the move up front if you don't.

Click a card to select it (and everything stacked on it, if it's a valid sequence), then click a destination — a free cell, a foundation, or another column. Double-click a card to send it straight to a foundation if that's legal. Undo steps back through the full move history, and Auto-finish repeatedly sends any card that can legally reach a foundation. Nearly every Freecell deal is solvable with correct play — unlike Klondike, a loss usually means a wrong move, not bad luck.
