How to convert JPG to PDF
- Choose or drop your photos or images.
- Use the arrows to put them in order, and choose the page size, orientation and margins.
- Click Create PDF to download one PDF with a page for each image.
How it works
Each image becomes one page, in the order shown; use the arrows to move them. With A4 or Letter, each image is scaled to fit inside the margins without cropping or stretching, centred on the page, and "Match each image" turns each page to suit its picture. "Same as each image" makes every page exactly the image's size (at 96 pixels per inch), so nothing is scaled.
JPG photos are put into the PDF exactly as they are, with no recompression and no loss of quality, so the PDF is about the size of the photos added together. Photos that a phone saved sideways with a rotation flag are turned upright first, which re-saves them at high quality. PNGs keep their exact pixels, and other formats are converted to high-quality JPG. Transparent areas become white. Everything happens in your browser: the images are never uploaded.
Questions about converting images to PDF
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no account, no signup, no trial and no paid tier, and the file you download has no watermark. It has no ads either: toolcrate keeps its PDF and file tools ad-free.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The images are turned into a PDF by your own browser, on your own device, and are never sent to a server.
Will my photos lose quality?
No. JPG photos go into the PDF exactly as they are, with no recompression, and PNGs keep their exact pixels.
Which image types can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and any other image your browser can open. Images are converted where needed, and transparent areas become white.
Why are some phone photos sideways?
They aren’t here: photos a phone saved with a rotation flag are turned upright before they go into the PDF.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers, with no app to install. Once you’ve used it, it keeps working without an internet connection.
