About this tool

Standard violin tuning (low to high: G D A E), synthesized as a sustained tone — three slightly detuned oscillators, body-resonance filtering, a bow-attack noise burst on note-on plus faint bow noise throughout, and vibrato that eases in a few hundred milliseconds after the note starts — rather than a plucked or percussive sound. A real violin has no frets, so this is a simplified 12-position layout for playability rather than a literal fingerboard.

Nothing here is recorded or uploaded — sound is generated and played entirely in your browser.
