About this tool
The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after a handful of intervals. This timer runs the whole cycle for you: it counts down against a real end timestamp (so it stays accurate even if the tab is backgrounded), plays a tone and briefly flashes the tab title at each transition, and can auto-advance straight into the next phase — or wait for you to start it manually if you'd rather control the pace. While a timer is running, it also requests a screen wake lock where your browser supports it, so the display doesn't sleep mid-session.
Completed focus sessions are tallied locally in your browser (today's count resets at midnight) — nothing here is sent to a server.
